A Day at the Museum

What happens during a trip to the Museum?

Your day starts with a quick orientation. We'll go over a few policies and also give you a place to store lunches, backpacks and coats!

If you've booked an Educational Extra we'll help you fit that into your schedule of play.

With 22,000 sq feet of space to explore, your kids will find plenty of things to do as they set off into the Museum in small groups with their chaperones.

     - Start a drum circle in our Ghana exhibit.
     - Learn about cause and effect in Cog City.
     - Build a castle or contraption in Dunn Lumber Construction Zone.
     - Serve sushi in a Kobe, Japan shop.

What can my group do for lunch?

At lunch time, your group can walk upstairs to the food court to enjoy lunch or, weather permitting, enjoy lunch on the grass by International Fountain.  After lunch, it's back to the Museum!  Your group can return to playing in the Museum or pack up for the day!
