Seattle, WA (May 15, 2012) – Get your feet tapping this weekend as The Children’s Museum, Seattle hosts the 3rd Annual Dance Around the World event on Saturday and Sunday, May 19 and 20. Featuring local artists, this family-focused event highlights cultural dances from around the world.
Children and their families are invited to watch and join in the multiple performances throughout the day including Ghana drumming, Lebanese Line Dance, Peruvian Folk Dance, Kathak Dances of North India and Hula dancing. Between performances, families can explore the Museum’s exhibits, including the Global Village exhibit. This annual event is supported by 4 Culture and the Museum’s other program supporting donors.

The Children’s Museum, Seattle is located on the Seattle Center campus on the ground level of the Armory/Center House. An expansive play space for children, the Museum’s exhibits include My Neighborhood Adventures, a Bite-Sized Grocery Store, a newly renovated Art Studio and a Near and Far Exhibit which uses LEGO® bricks and DUPLO® bricks for learning.
