1. Who can respond to the RFP?
We welcome responses from educators, artists, performers and more. The Museum provides a variety of programs each week which include artistic performances, clubs (art, theatre, and science), cultural performances, storytimes and more. Because of the variety of programs we offer, we utilize a variety of individuals from varied backgrounds.
2. What is involved in the RFP?
The RFP asks for personal background information, details of your program idea and details about how your program suggestion fits the Museum's informal education model.
3. What is the deadline for submissions?
The Museum will continue to accept proposals throughout the year.
4. How often would I get to teach/perform at the Museum?
If your proposal is selected, the number of performances or programs would be determined based on our needs as well as the depth and variety of your program.
5. May I submit more than 1 idea?
Absolutely.
6. I'm not an educator, can I still submit an idea?
Yes. The Museum is looking for both great program ideas and individuals familiar with working with children ages 10 months - 10 years old. A formal education background is not required.
