The Children's Museum is an early learning educational institution. All exhibits are set up with brain development and the early learner in mind. We know that the young learner needs to make contact with his world and actively experiment in order to figure out how the pieces fit together. Our exhibits are designed for children to touch, manipulate, and re-create. There are no right answers in our spaces; children are simply moved to explore. Through the process of play, children build basic abilities such as fine motor control, language development, visual-spatial skills, social skills, and much more. Early learning programming emphasizes developmental stages of early learning in addition to the importance of family connections.
