Sensory Sensitive Hours

On the first Saturday of each month, we open our doors early with minimal sounds and lights so that kids who benefit from a less stimulating environment can enjoy the Museum.  You can learn more on this page and pre-purchase your tickets.  We require that tickets be pre-purchased in order to help us staff the event appropriately.

Passport 2 Play

Passport 2 Play is a program run by the Museum that offers free and reduced admission for families at-risk or in-need who could not otherwise afford to come and play.  Through the various programs, the Museum gives away over $100,000 in free services each year.  As a non-profit organization, this program would not be possible without our generous donors, including the City of Seattle and the attendees of our annual Fall Breakfast.

Donation Only Hour - The last hour of every weekday (4:00pm - 5:00pm), we accept any amount of payment for regular admission to the Museum. Your family simply pays what you can afford to enter and play.

WA EBT or Food Stamp Card - Show this card at the box office and receive $1.00 per person daily admission for the cardholder, your partner, and your dependent children. (Washington Residents Only)

WA DSHS Medical Cards - Show your DSHS Medical card to receive free daily admission for the individual who is named on the card. (Washington Residents Only)  Please note we only accept the WA State DSHS Medical Card, not letters or forms.

Sponsored Group Admission - If your organization serves at-risk or low-income families, you may qualify for sponsored admission. Approval is required and the number of groups per month is limited. Follow this link to learn more.

Passport 2 Play Partner Organizations - In addition to the programs listed above, we partner with community agencies in King, Pierce and Snohomish County to distribute free admission coupons. The organizations help us place the coupons in the hands of those who could not otherwise afford to visit the Museum.
