MUSEUM RENTALS

Did you know...The Children’s Museum, Seattle is the perfect place to entertain? Plan your next family reunion, business event, corporate party or any other group gathering at The Children's Museum, Seattle! There’s no better place to gather, get the creative juices flowing, hold a corporate breakfast meeting, a brainstorming session or have a party!

The Museum offers unlimited fun for your guests. Perfect for adults, children or a group of both, the Museum is a great place to get together, discover, create, play and learn. You can rent the entire Museum after hours or rent a special room during business hours. MUSEUM RENTALS EVENING EVENTS
$500 per hour / $450 per hour for members
$250 refundable damage deposit
Non-profit organizations receive discounted rates; please call the museum for more information.

The Museum is available before 9am and after 6pm Monday – Friday, before 9am and after 7pm Saturday and Sundays.

Rentals include:

  • One Museum staff member per 400 people
  • Admission for your guests and access to party rooms, all common areas and all galleries, except the Imagination Studio
  • One half hour set up time will be included with events 2 hours or more

Add-On: Imagination Studio Artist
Do you miss the days of cutting and pasting and being creative? Make your event even more special by letting your guests take home a remembrance--something they have created themselves!
Ask about what project is currently available in Imagination Station, our facilitated art studio, for you to incorporate with your event.

You may choose to add an artist in the Imagination Studio for an additional fee.

  • $100 per hour for a party with 20 children
  • $50 extra per hour for a party with 25 or more children
  • 10% discount for Members

FACILITY INFORMATION

  • Loading Zone: Available, but must be prearranged with reservations.
  • Maximum Capacity: 1200
  • Maximum Seated Dinner Capacity 400
  • Cleaning fees for sit down dinners vary; please call the Museum for more information.

PARKING
Parking is available at the following locations around the Seattle Center:
Mercer Garage: Third Ave. N. & Roy Street
1st Avenue North Garage: between John and Thomas Street
5th Avenue Parking: Fifth Avenue N. & Republican Street
John St. Lot: Second Avenue N. & John Street
Warren Avenue Lot: Warren Avenue between Denny Way & John Street
Second Avenue: Second Avenue N. south of Mercer Street
Some on street parking is available and metered parking is free after 6:00 pm.

ALCOHOL POLICY
Wine and beer only are allowed in the Museum, which will be at the Museum’s discretion. If alcohol is present, party will be required to provide a licensed bartender and submit a $250 damage deposit. There may be an additional charge for security.

WHAT ARE THE ACCEPTED METHODS OF PAYMENT?
A $25.00 dollar non-refundable deposit is required to hold a reservation. The Museum accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. A full payment must be received two weeks prior to your party date.events@thechildrensmuseum.org.
