Parking "Survival Tips"
Tip #1: The 1st North Garage and Lot 4, both
on the west side of the Seattle Center, are sure-fire ways to
avoid high traffic flow. Take the Mercer exit from I-5 and follow
signs to Seattle Center. After Valley becomes Broad Street and
dips under Highway 99, stay in the right lane. Once you pass the
Space Needle, take the next right onto Denny Way. Then take the
very next right (just past the Pacific Science Center) and you'll
be on 2nd Ave N. Turn left at the stop sign (John Street), Lot
4 is immediately on your left, and the 1st N Garage is ahead on
your right. During non-peak times, the self serve rate in 1st
North Garage is $5.00, and in Lot 4 it is $6.00. Prices are subject
to change.
Tip #2: Looking for Low Cost Parking Options?
5th Avenue Parking is the place for you! Located at 5th N and
Republican, it’s the only Seattle Center facility to offer
carpool rates. If you have three or more in your car, the rate
is only $5.00 at any time! Since the Experience Music Project
(EMP) is kitty corner from the parking lot at the corner of 5th
N and Harrison, we suggest that you cross 5th Ave N one block
North of Harrison, at Republican Street. Then walk toward EMP
and onto the Seattle Center grounds on the north side of Harrison.
Prices subject to change.
